NASA IMAGERY CREDIT AND TERMS

These textures are the equirectangular Earth maps distributed with the three-globe
package (node_modules/three-globe/example/img), copied into this repository by
`node scripts/prepare-textures.mjs` so that Atlas serves them from its own origin.

The colour map is derived from NASA's Blue Marble: Next Generation, produced by
Reto Stockli, NASA Earth Observatory, using data from the MODIS instrument aboard
the Terra satellite. The elevation map is derived from NASA's companion Blue Marble
topography/bathymetry layer.

NASA content, including imagery, is generally not copyrighted and may be used for
any purpose without fee, provided NASA is not claimed to endorse any product or
service, and provided the NASA insignia is not used. The imagery is credited to
NASA in the Atlas settings page. These files are resampled derivatives intended for
real-time rendering; they are not authoritative scientific data.
